Now what...

I never thought that this accomplishment...

...would cause me such mixed emotions.

What does it mean when your baby can tie his own shoes??

I never encouraged him to learn to tie his shoes.

I just always did it for him.

Because when your baby can tie his own shoes

there is nothing left for you to do.

Now what...
I'm not needed around here anymore.
Maybe they are hiring at the mall.

Don't tell me this--I'm hoping Chloe won't learn for a couple more years!!

If you're feeling a need to have someone young around, I'm sure I could lend you one of my kids for a couple of hours! :-) What a fun new phase of your life! Enjoy it!

Ha ha what a sad/exciting accomplishment! And like jodie said, they still need you! they will even when they are old like me!

I'm sticking with velcro until they are at least 8 maybe that will slow things down. =)
