The day she traded in her dance shoes for a pair of high top basketball shoes was...well...unexpected.

The Lady Hawks made it to the State Championships.
Playing on ASU's Sun Devils court.
They made it to the final four. One game shy of playing for the State title. It was such a tough loss.
But...I was really happy that Maddison got the chance to play in a State playoff game.
That's something she will remember always.
