We even went to the beach during the same trip.
I'm sure my parents were thinking "Let's do this
California thing and get it over with!"
Now you can't keep me away from that happy place.
And a favorite of mine. My family right before my olderbrother Jim, left for his mission to Paris, France.
I remember clearly when Jim got the string art kit and watched
him create that ship. It was a masterpiece in my mind!
If you enlarge this picture and look at my little brother Dave,
who does he remind you of??
Ah yes ~ The 80's were AWESOME!!

Fun Pictures! It makes me laugh to see pictures of my dad looking so scrawny and young! We were just talking about that string ship masterpiece the other day! It is hanging in their basement, and he doesn't have the heart to get rid of it since it took so much time!
I LOVE the old pics. You were a total beauty...and still are!
I love seeing the 13yr old you. It would have been fun to know you at 13. Looks like a fun family.
Hey Andrea - how have you been? Carson didn't do dive team this year -so we don't get to see each other at dive meets - but it's fun to chat through blogging! Any was - love your background - its soo cute!
Fun pictures. I vaguely remember the 80's. Something about big hair and high waisted pants....ya, it's all coming back....pegged pants, the Go-Go's, checkered Van's (the shoes), Spirit Hall...
Good times.
Very nice post, Andrea, very nice!
Happy day
Dave actually looks EXACTLY like my good friend Danny Chevalier. I had a crush on him from 4th grade until we were about Juniors in high school.
